Missing You!

Missing You!

I can't forget the day I saw this beauty. June 1, 2005 at Kanha National Park in India. On a hot summer morning this beast was innocently sitting on a rock, in the wild. Reminiscing the time tigers would be in great numbers or maybe just waiting for his mother.

This fellow is normally seen flitting about tree tops and is quite a trouble-maker, not sure why it settled down on the road for this pose. Shot at Greenwoods City, Gurgaon, Haryana, India.

European Mountainscape?

Not really, this is also at Rohtang Pass. The lovely looking cottages are actually very broken down. Not sure what they were and who they belong to.

The sun the clouds and the snow, all came together for this. Not sure if it captures what I really saw though.

Let the Moonshine In

On the same lines as my Aum experiment, a simple Moon shot. I don't have the luxury of a telescope so this is just of my regular lense. Just cropped close to enlarge it.

Bouncing about in the park, I managed to get this one to hold still long enough to shoot!

AUM

AUM

A little experiment, this aum light is on a tree just outside our house. I shot this image using a tripod, ISO-800, Aperture f/8 and shutter adjusted to correct exposure. Spot Metering. What may be considered as noise on the back is actually the bark of the tree.

This Red-vented Bulbul is hanging out with a terracotta bird. I wonder what they were discussing.

Bloggng & ScribeFire!

Do you already blog or aspire to blog? Do you find that apart from laziness there is something that holds you back? Well, I found that most of the time what puts me off blogging is having to use a web-based editor to create content. If only there was an easy way in my browser to create content, share links and get my blog going I'll do it. Well, there is. Its called ScribeFire and its a Firefox plugin. In fact, its a great plugin. It takes a few minutes to download and install and even fewer to learn how to use. From within FireFox, just hit the F8 key and you get an editor, write your content and publish. If you want to share a link, then right-click on the page, select ScribeFire -> Blog this Page. It doesn't get much simpler than this.

Of course sheer laziness is still hard to beat...but Happy Blogging!
