Red Oleander - Apparently part of a poisonous family of flower.

This was growing in our garden a while back. Was just testing out a macro lense!

We have a few pots of lilies around the house and they often offer themselves as good subjects!

Caught this Lily trying to get some water to drink!

Earrings made of beans and seeds! at least it looked like one.

I liked the way the flower contrasted with (or complimented?) the Victorian architecture. I've got a solo of this flower too without the building but somehow liked this picture better!

The red colour is not in petals but in filaments of anthers. Each head has many flowers & each flower has numerous stamens (filament + anther). Macro with auto-focus. (0217)
