It is a very famous saying that " Nobody dies a virgin, life screws us all ". Although it is not an appropriate quote to start a travelogue but there are instances in life which makes you wonder about the sequence of events and then suddenly everything comes back in front of your eyes and you start thinking whether you were actually there. Ohh shit! what am I talking about? Looks like the manali's thief has also taken away my basic sense of putting things in perspective along with that blue denim bag.

Took this on the Leh-Srinagar highway just before Kargil district. Although this road has one of the most difficult terrains of all in kashmir due to regular shelling from either side, but it also holds the most spectacular landscapes.

Got this frame in Leh, the lighting was absolutely perfect and that day it rained so the atmosphere was absolutely clear. I have realized that post-rain sunlight is the best time to shoot in hill station since the dust gets settle down and you can capture lot more colors and shades of Grey. Also, one can great frames in the inner roads where there are regions of light and shadows.

People complain about "road rage" but I find that ironic. Traffic comes and goes on a road, but the road remains empty. I dis-identify from the traffic and focus on the empty road.
If I'm driving myself and in solitude, I love all the time I spend alone in the car, just driving. I test myself to see how I may use that time creatively, meditatively, and in "generating" silence and calm in so much noise and chaos.

I can't forget the day I saw this beauty. June 1, 2005 at Kanha National Park in India. On a hot summer morning this beast was innocently sitting on a rock, in the wild. Reminiscing the time tigers would be in great numbers or maybe just waiting for his mother.
